The Montgomery County Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention training is required for all school volunteers and is available online at If you want to help out at recess or lunch, or volunteer in the classroom, etc. you must complete this training. It takes 30-45 minutes.

In light of recent events in our community and around the country, the MKPC PTA would like to reiterate that we are PROUD of the diversity in our community. We respect all members of our community and WILL NOT tolerate hate speech or bullying in any form.

The Montgomery County Public Schools and Superintendent Dr. Jack Smith have also posted messages online responding to hate speech incidents in our local area.

Calling all young scientists! It's time for the annual Montgomery Knolls/Pine Crest PTA Science Fair! All K-5 students are encouraged to participate by working on a science project at home, and displaying it at the Fair. The Fair will be held at Eastern Middle School on Saturday, March 3rd.

Mark Your Calendar for Pizza Bingo 2018

Get ready for a fun night of pizza, prizes, and friends. The PTA's annual Pizza Bingo night is happening at Eastern Middle School on January 19th, 6pm. Don't miss it! 

The MKPC PTA is once again sponsoring the Geo Bowl! This year, the students will be tackling Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.  The goal of this program is to create enthusiasm for geography, while having fun and bolstering school spirit through a little friendly team competition. December General PTA Meeting

The General PTA Meeting took place on December 5th at Pine Crest Elementary.  Jane Pinczuk, founder and CEO of the Music in Me Foundation, gave a presentation about bullying in schools and spoke about ways to foster positive change.

Make your 100% tax deductible gift to the MKPC PTA.  Wondering where your money will go? We just purchased new musical instruments as well as PE equipment. We fund field trips. We host teacher appreciation events for our awesome educators. We host multi-cultural events and fun activities like Pizza Bingo and Kids Movie Night. We buy books for the media center. And the list could go on! Make a difference in the lives of our kids.
